About Sonya
As you know my name is Sonya and I was born and have lived in Western Australia for most of my life, interspersed with travel. From an early age, I have always questioned what else is there, the world just can’t be only what we see, what else is there that we don’t see with our physical eyes!
As I grew older, I always searched for different ways to unburden myself of the traumas I had experienced growing up, which for me included embracing various therapies like Pranic Healing, Reiki, Life Coaching, Spiritual Guidance, Energetic Healing and Shamanic Healing Rituals. I have always been intrigued and pulled towards “Alternative Healings/Therapies”, as I liked to live outside the box. I believe that all therapies regardless of where they originate from, have a place in this world, and we have the option to move between them depending on your needs.
For the past 30 years I have worked in the medical field as Mental Health Nurse and at the age of 45 I decided to go back to university to study and obtained my Master of Social Work. Throughout this time, I have continued to explore my own spirituality and what that means for me. Looking at ways to integrate and combine both areas, so I and the people I work with, can benefit from the positive aspects of both western medicine and alternative therapies.
I am passionate in wanting to support and help guide people who want choice, in merging therapeutic options from both worlds (so to speak), to allow them to rediscover and reconnect to their true self, the person they were born to be.
To finish off, I am a proud mum to 3 fur babies, Poppy, Leroy and Sheba, who my husband and I have rescued, and they are the most loving, cuddly and adorable dogs ever. They love unconditionally and fill my heart with joy and are always happy when we go for walks. I have chosen and been guided to be able to work for myself, in offering clients a way to heal themselves. This fills me with a sense of joy and excitement of what is possible.
